Its functions include dual-mode cable tracing, PoE and NCV voltage measurement, cable length measurement, continuity testing, voltage and cable fault testing, and a hub flicker function. It supports network cables from Cat 5 to Cat 8.

The tester has three user-selectable operating modes: POE Mode, Digital Mode, and Analog Mode. The POE test function checks the polarity and mapping of PoE network switches, withstands up to 60VDC, and helps locate network ports by causing the indicator lights on a hub or switch to flash.

The device performs real-time measurement of cable length up to 400 meters (1312 feet) and includes built-in short-circuit protection. The length test function is suitable for various metal cables with at least two wires, such as network, telephone, and BNC cables.
